Elizabeth Shea

Elizabeth Shea is an entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in strategic communications within the technology and B2B sectors. She brings this expertise to her role as founder and CEO of TreeFork Strategies to help companies develop communications strategies to navigate a range of inflection points including exits, acquisitions, capital raises, and leadership restructuring.

In 1997 she founded Speakerbox Communications, a B2B and B2G technology-centric public relations firm, and led it through a strategic sale to full-service marketing firm REQ in 2019. In 2023, after REQ exited in a financial transaction to private equity, she was named President of REQ as it began the process of integrating with other agencies.

There, she advised startups, growth-stage companies, and industry leaders on using communications as a vessel for fundraising, M&A, and thought leadership outcomes.  Over the course of her career, she has coached dozens of CEOs and entrepreneurs on sell-side and buy-side M&A communications.

She prides herself on providing a unique blend of strategic insight and thoughtful communications mastery delivered through a highly personalized, full-spectrum approach.

Elizabeth has been actively involved for years serving on non-profit and industry boards and giving back to the community. She serves as board chair for the Technology Marketing Alliance, a group she co-founded in 2006. TMA brings together technology CMOs to share, advocate and inform of industry best practices.

She also serves on the organizing board of MindShare, an invitation-only, member-based organization of CEOs as they partake in their first startup entrepreneurial journey. She has held board seats with Women in Technology, The Leadership Foundry, and SECAF.
